Blackberry Twizzlers
Submitted by millerfarms on Thu, 07/01/2010 - 10:01Gather fresh blackberries. Rinse and drain on paper towels. Pat dry with paper towels. Thread dry blackberries halfway down onto wooden skewers. Lay on parchment lined cookie sheet and place in freezer. Once frozen, twizzlers can be used as a refreshing snack or as a stir stick for your favorite drink. Leftover twizzlers keep best in a ziploc bag in freezer. Enjoy. Very refreshing and kid friendly.
Farmhouse Goulash
Submitted by millerfarms on Tue, 04/13/2010 - 14:19Brown 2 punds Roseda ground beef. Drain and set aside. In same frying pan, saute' one green pepper (chopped), one onion (chopped) and 2 - 4 cloves garlic (minced) in 2 tablespoons olive oil. Once saute'ed add back the drained beef. Then add 2 -3 cups fresh tomatoes (peeled and chopped). Add these seasonings: 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp freshly ground nutmeg. Let simmer along on low heat until ready to serve. (a lid on the pan will help keep mixture moist)
