Scottish Cream Scones

2 cups flour,  2 tsp baking powder,  1 TB sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 4 TB butter,  2 large eggs  3/4 cup heavy cream.  The butter, eggs, and heavy cream can all be found at Miller Farms Market.  Mix all dry ingredients with wire whisk.  Cut into the butter with pastry cutter for two minutes, then mix with fingers until mixture  forms coarse, bead-like texture.  Add the cream and beaten eggs to the flour mixture; mix until dough forms soft ball.  Separate dough into 6 large scones and bake on parchment paper on cookie sheet at 425 degrees for 12-15 min.

For Fun you can add one cup of fruit, butterscotch, coconut, chocolate chips, or applebutter.
